1959 to 1966

Danced professionally with the Robert Joffrey Ballet, Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Nederland’s Dans Theatre, American Ballet Theater, and several New York avant garde companies.

1966 to 1969

Studied art at Cooper Union, New York City.

1968 to 2005

Produced hand painted fabric for leading interior decorators, Halston, Bergdorf Goodman and several commissioned installations.

1978

Beginning Sphere, an installation of 42 hand painted silk banners based on Tibetan Buddhist teachings.  Each panel 14’ x  4’ 112 Workshop, 112 Green St.;  Soho, New York City

1979

First Steps, a solo dance concert given at the Merce Cunningham studios. Set, costumes, choreography and danced by me.

1980

Lea Dances, a ballet commissioned by a small New York dance company. I did the sets, costumes, choreography, and danced in it.

1983 to 1999

Moved to Woodstock, New York where I owned a studio with rental space for instruction in various art media.  I continued producing hand painted silk, oil paintings, and ceramics. I had several local exhibitions and installations in my various media.

1996

Bucolic Hudson Valley mural on a 40’ x 60’ outside brick wall in Kingston, New York.

1997

Board of Directors, The Pauline Oliveros Foundation Retreat a one man exhibition of my work at the Foundation.

1999

Purchased property in Tucson, where I lived, had my studios, and ran Gallery Four Ten.

2000 to 2004

Gallery Four Ten had an average of seven shows a year featuring local contemporary artists.

2005

Closed Gallery Four Ten. Guest artist at local galleries and art fairs. Teaching painting on fabric, oil on canvas, and hand built ceramics.
