The Tarot’s Major Arcana

The 60s was an age of discoveries for so many. Mine included the many aspects of the esoteric. Among my encounters were the archetypical images of the Tarot. Thoughout the years these images have played out their full measure for me.

Last fall I acquired six 5' by 4' canvases. I decided to tackle the main actors in the Major Arcana. So far I have finished:

In 2003 I did No. 9 The Hermit in a different style. It was an appropriate time for him to appear.

I make no claims to expertise. The paintings are a personal comment.

My next canvas will be No. 13 Death. I already have the image in mind.
